I love to teach math and one of the activities in our curriculum is What's My Rule? In this activity the students analyze a set of numbers to determine the rule that solves the number sentence. For example: If a 2 is put into a box and a 4 comes out then the rule is adding 2. If a 5 is put into a box and a 1 comes out the rule is subtracting 4. Make sense?
